WITH SUPPORT FROM THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION, Cornell University Library is building a digital library for teaching the history and principles of kinematics -- the geometry of pure motion. The Kinematic Models for Design Digital Library (K-MODDL) will feature models designed by German engineering professor Franz Reuleaux (1829-1905) and held by Cornell since 1882.

K-MODDL will come online in summer 2004 and will be included in the National Science Digital Library (NSDL). The Explore Cornell feature you are viewing provides a preview.
