The Kroch Asia Library is a Cornell architectural jewel appreciated especially by "insiders" -- as an underground building, it's all about interior space. Opened to the public officially on August 24, 1992, Kroch Library is a state-of-the-art, wireless work and study space, and houses hundreds of thousands of items from the Asia and Rare and Manuscript Book collections.
